Raw accel is common sense. Being able to relax is the best thing for increasing skill. Killing your arm to flick when you simply don't need to with raw accel makes no sense. Real precision is already based on the wrist anyway and flicking with the arm is far less important for engaging targets more for getting out of trouble at least for me. My classic curve has low sens for tracking and target transition and only goes 2x for flicking to get the hell out of there or if someone behind me. In the end far more worth it than using my arm lol

I get the concept. I used to use a G303 shroud edition as my main mouse and I had an aggressive claw grip. I could never make micro adjustments well in game. When I switched over to a GPX2, my grip style changed to a relaxed claw grip and now I can make micro adjustments and also can track way better than with the g303

  • @chmrz

Shakiness while tracking can also be caused by "muddy" mousepad or bad mouse skates. Especially for a very high sens player its almost impossible to track smoothly without a fast mousepad.

I have to disagree on the “racing” type gaming chairs, the side wing things you’re talking about don’t affect be at all. Mine did come with a lumbar supportive “pillow” thing that pushed me out a little bit though. Of course you have to take the arm rests off but the lumbar mixed with the head pillow is a perfect combo for proper arm aiming and good posture in general. I’ve had one from Costco which didn’t have lumbar and that absolutely screwed my posture up so this isn’t the case with all of them but the one I have no which is of the gtplayer brand for only like 100-150 bucks is absolutely perfect. If all that wasn’t enough it had a freakin leg rest and vibration in the lumbar pillow 😂 Anyways though, yes, arm aiming is a game changer I used to wrist aim and the moment I switched my aim got leagues better and it felt like I finally after thousands of hours figured out how you’re supposed to aim. Also get a long mousepad it seriously helps, tiktok shop has really good quality and great visual designed 3 feet mousepads for only 3-4 bucks each. Or you can waste your money on a 15$ same sized one from the other name brands but for the price and materials used it’s probably even better than those to go with tiktok. I am a tiktok hater fyi, I only use the shop because of the absolute steals. It’s like a second amazon

It's often applied to web/app design, but really pay attention to the instructional design and education scholarship on this topic (my PhD is in music education, but I designed computer science education content that was used by hundreds of thousands of teachers/students around the world). All these videos assume there's some kind of logic or heckin science behind it when most people in reality are irrational and overanalytic. Yeah it is my eyes thinking I'm closer or further, yeah it is me not moving a itch or too much, so what. I know this already and I tryhard it. How do you expect that kind of "rationality" to happen, how the fuck do you do that? They say practice but do you really need a fucking game where you shoot floating blue balls to not cuck yourself? Now my muscle memory is to move stuff back and follow some patterns, wow, I really improved. I bet I won't. I'm still a irrational fuck. They say thinking negative is a step to failure, like it somehow makes evil goop in your mind. Improving is just fucking making goop in your mind, intelligent people can get it faster but that's it, I'm improving something else already. I already done this by shooting people at the head, guess what I still died, even if I landed a few headshots. I only got em at the patterns I trained. It's fucking nothing compared to the video game. I hadn't got to moving stuff back but you're already moving shit and trying to aim while moving, guess I'll put it back and miss from another direction. The real thing would be stop and wait probably while moving a little bit. So yeah skill is fucking lame and a big lie bro.
